We went To // Tips & Toes
Now anyone who’s lived in the UAE for more than 5 minutes knows that there’s a Tips and Toes virtually in every major part of the city and not without good reason, with over 35 branches they are always super close and accessible. Fortunately, I have 3 branches within 5 minutes of my house, which makes it super handy if I forget to book a last minute appointment!
The team at Tips and Toes are professional and friendly and to be honest, I’ve never had a bad experience there.
I’ve had a chance to try a few of their services and can personally vouch for their manicures and pedicures. From the polish removal, to the scrub, massage and fresh coats of paints sitting back in their comfy chairs makes the whole experience delightful. They have an amazing variety of colours in normal nail polish(but I always seem to stick to the nudes, pinks and reds…) as well as Shellac, Gelish and even extensions. When I leave, my nails always look about a thousand times better compared to when I arrived.
I’ve had the Signature Tips and Toes massage for 90 minutes, which must admit left me feeling like I was floating afterwards. They incorporate the use of hot stones along your meridians which releases any tension and cures muscle aches and pains. I wouldn’t recommend going out after this one as honestly it leaves you waaaay too relaxed and after they massage your face and hair it leaves you looking slicker than your average.
Sometimes when I’m feeling particularly lazy or have a special occasion I’ll pop down and get a hair wash and blow dry for that extra voluminous look – something I definitely do not know how to do myself – not gonna lie, I leave feeling like a movie star.
They have a bunch of other treatments too which I’m yet to try but will report back if I get the chance! These include eyelash extensions, hair removal, skincare, body treatments, slimming and Hammam services. If you’re feeling more like a homebody and less adventurous they even offer to come to you. Dreamy.
If you’re a frequent flyer with them it might even be worth scoping out their monthly membership packages. It entitles you to special deals, discounts, products etc. and there’s even two tiers.
