Light Bulb Critters For Your Garden

There truly are some creative souls in the world. If you’re looking for a little something to add some interest to your garden area, or maybe even your balcony, we just might have the solution. You can make some spiders out of bulbs, paint, and wire. Or, skip the paint and use some different colored bulbs for the body. Get some inspo here. However, if the arachnophobia is strong with you, perhaps some sweet lil bumblebees instead? Googly eyes optional of course. You could also add some wire here for legs. Get the instructions this way.

Hanging Mini Flower Vases

Alright, so this one does take a bit of work, but these are worth the effort. You’ll need a pair of pliers, a screw driver, and some gloves. Possibly some safety goggles, just in case. Basically, you pry off the top of the metal part of the bulb, and then remove the insides. Life Is A Party has a really good tutorial for all this, just work slowly and carefully. When you’re finished, simply fill with some water, and your blooms of choice. You could hang these with twine, ribbon, or just about anything you wish. These would look really pretty in front of a window, or even from some of your more sturdy plants.

Turn Them Into Terrariums

Following the same hollowing out tutorial as above, you can also create the sweetest little terrariums. You could fill them with sand, stones, air plants, mini cacti, etc. You could even do seashells and water! You’re only really limited by your imagination, and even then, there’s plenty of inspiration out there to help you achieve success.
